For Pali High, beginning NOW, bring your clean, new, or "gently used"  jackets, coats, or sweaters to COMMUNITY SERVICE CENTER J121 on Pali High Campus.  5 items = 1 hr. of service credit.  Through December 10th.  For EVERYONE ELSE, with any kind of clothes, you may drop off at the Y on Via de la Paz from Dec. 5-10th.

YA - Dance Team NEWS

Young Angels Dance Team finds its home at Grace Temple Baptist Church.  
Kids of Grace The team announces its name, Kids of Grace, and get to work.
Above, Miss Rachel and Miss Soraya with with Facilities Director Shawn and two new dance team members.  Rehearsals are underway!  Pastor Broadous has warmly welcomed us into his church, and classes are held every Tuesday and Thursday.  For Team membership, contact info@youngangelsofamerica.org.

Grace Temple Baptist Church
On Sunday, November 21st, Councilmember Bernard Parks was a guest at Grace Temple Baptist Church.  Pastor Broadous was kind enough to include YA Directors in a meeting with Councilmember Parks after services to discuss Young Angels' youth leadership opportunities for students in the Eighth District.  YA thanks Pastor Broadous for his hospitality and his outreach.

 

Young Angels of America is a 501 (c) 3 organization that teaches fundraising and event production to middle and high school students so they can support causes they believe in.  Our current initiative supports YA college prep and financial literacy programs in South Los Angeles Schools.
