Young
Angels Pac Pal team events support Young Angels of America after-school
programs at Animo Watts Charter High School, Locke Tech High School,
Watts Labor Community Action Committee and Grace Temple Baptist Church.
We are a not-for-profit organization that teaches entrepreneurial fund
raising and event production to middle and high school students. This
event is supporting L.A.'s Prom Closet as well as the ongoing cost of
our faculty, guest artists, equipment (including flip cams, microphones,
amplifiers, laptops, Kindles), transportation (getting the teams
together), production, workshops (including DJ, Security, Dress for
Success), materials, special projects such as the Animo Watts Prom
Project and the YA Watts Comedy Project. For more information, contact

RIDE ALONG WITH BROOK + DEBBIE
If you want to check out one of the coolest after-school programs in L.A., book a ride-along. We
take passengers on Wednesdays for a full day of fun. We start at 11
a.m. with our Leadership Class at Animo Watts H.S., followed by the best
cafeteria food and the hottest YA student store ever, then observe "The
Great Gatsby" in Junior English. At 3 p.m., it's our YA Watts Comedy
Team with Jose Velasquez, Martin Rizo + Susanna Lee. We zoom back up
the freeway and end the day at 6 p.m. with chips and dip and our
Palisades production team who help finance the whole deal. Thursdays we
ride to Locke Tech H.S. for "LATE NIGHT AT LOCKE" with Reggie Brown +
